Med Surg RN in the Emergency Department - Boarder Patient Assignments - PM Shift

Job Overview

• RN role working in the Emergency Room with med surg-level boarder patients awaiting inpatient beds.
• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Schedule includes every other weekend.
• 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
• One completed travel assignment.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.

• Driver’s license or valid government-issued ID.
• License/certificate verification.
• Resume.
• Two professional references from within the last 2 years, provided by a charge nurse or higher.
• Education verification.
• Badge photo.
• Skills checklist.
• I-9 E-Verify attestation.
• ECG exam completion.
• Internal competency checklist.
• Annual compliance training module.
• Criminal background check.
• Drug screen.
• Physical/health statement.
• TB test.
• MMR immunity documentation.
• Varicella immunity documentation.
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation.
• Fit test.

Additional Notes

• Influenza vaccine is optional, but may be required during the listed flu season unless an approved exemption is granted.
