Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)


Job Description

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET CT procedures using radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under physician or senior technologist supervision.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts.
  • Must be trained in venipuncture.
  • Familiarity with EPIC, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology is required.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Massachusetts.
  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
