Certified Surgical Technician - Labor and Delivery

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Schedule: Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Job Description

Work 36 hours per week on night shifts.
Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) surgical cases is required.
Must hold NBSTSA certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
Minimum of 1 year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) surgical cases.
Experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Additional Information

No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite; must be completed prior to start.
Positive TB skin test requires a negative chest X-ray after the positive test.
Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
