Job Opportunity: RN Critical Care/ICU-CCU (Nights)

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care using assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with healthcare team members.
  • Care for adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients.
  • Estimated 36-hour work week with possible overtime.
  • Must self-study telemetry strips and pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during the first week to work on ICU-CCU units.

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification (American Heart Association or Apex Innovations only)
  • Valid professional nursing license (Primary source verification required)

  • Skills Checklist (completed within 12 months)
  • Other professional verifications and attestations as required
