Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Description
- Work hours: 14:30 - 23:00, every other week (EOW), every other holiday (EOH)
- No on-call required
- Experience with GE CT scanners required (minimum 1 year hospital experience)
- Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles if needed
- Prior travel experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as a CT Technologist within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior travel experience as a CT Technologist
Required Credentials & Compliance
- Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references
- Signed assignment agreement and onboarding documentation
- Core competencies completed within the last year (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
- Medical and health requirements including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine during flu season or mask requirement if declined
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Tdap vaccination within last 10 years
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA) and chest X-ray if positive
- Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
- Background checks including criminal, employment, and education verifications
- Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
- Specialty exam demonstrating competency in CT technology (minimum 80% passing score)
- Color vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
- Badge photo (headshot with white or blue background)
Additional Information
- Must complete onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
- Skills checklist and other competency validations required annually
- Compliance with all facility policies and procedures
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with hospital experience on GE scanners who are comfortable with travel assignments and flexible floating within a 40-mile radius.
