CT Technologist - Jacksonville, Florida

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Schedule Requirements:

  • Every weekend required
  • Holidays required: Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Required Credentials & Certifications

  • CT Registered, ARRT certification (required)
  • BLS (AHA) (required before onboarding)
  • Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
  • Driver’s License/State ID (valid, not expired, matching address requirements)
  • Professional references (at least two)
  • Resume/Profile

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) completed within one year, minimum 80% score
  • Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
  • Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot, white or blue background, no filters)
  • Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, updated annually)
  • Ascension Criminal Background Check (7-year search including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG, sex offender registry)
  • EPLS check within 90 days of start
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work (within 90 days of start)
  • Employment verification for past 7 years
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation (start/end dates on agency letterhead)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing with annual TB questionnaire
  • Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray within one year and TB questionnaire
  • Fit Test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be done onsite)
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Additional Notes

  • Some documents and forms are completed onsite and uploaded by the facility (e.g., Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form)
  • Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days
  • All credential verifications and health documentation must be current and compliant prior to assignment start

This position requires a highly compliant and credentialed CT Technologist ready to work weekends and specified holidays in a long-term assignment setting.
