CT Technologist – Jacksonville, Florida

Position Details

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Night shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Schedule: No weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Valid Driver’s License

Health and Safety Requirements

Proof of immunizations and health screenings:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD or negative IGRA within specified timeframes
- If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
Annual 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Onboarding Requirements

Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually

Additional Notes

All license and certification verifications must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days
Core competencies must be completed within one year of start and updated every three years
Drug screen must include all 12 specified substances with MRO review if applicable
