Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Location: Waco, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Minimum of 3 years ICU experience required.
Work in a combined ICU unit covering medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.
Must be able to float between critical care service lines, including ICU and step-down units.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum of 3 years ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Driver’s License

Additional Information

Flu season mask policy applies if influenza vaccine is declined.
Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.
Post-assignment surveys and evaluations may be requested but are optional.

This position requires a highly skilled ICU nurse capable of managing diverse critical care patients and adapting to multiple care settings within the ICU and step-down units.
