• Unit Description:
  Care for patients post-cardiac surgery on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Cardiac Surgery Unit.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Onboarding includes completion of pre-hire modules and onsite orientation.
• Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.
• Flu vaccine exemptions accepted with mask requirement during flu season.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience who hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and are comfortable working night shifts caring for post-cardiac surgery patients.
