Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree or Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Life Support accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Job Summary

Evaluates and cares for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
Assesses patients, develops care plans, implements and monitors treatment and equipment, and communicates patient condition
Performs advanced respiratory care modalities
Evaluates respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment based on patient outcomes
Educates patients and families
Responds to emergency resuscitation team code
