Overview
- Fully remote assignment in Austin, Texas.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 08:30 - 17:00.
Role Summary
- Reviews admissions and service requests for medical necessity and reimbursement policy compliance.
- Supports case management, discharge planning, coding, documentation, precertification, and claim denials/appeals.
- Oversees compliance with utilization management rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Utilization Review experience with 2 years of experience.
- Utilization Review experience within the last year.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting.
- Proficiency with InterQual/MCG.
- Proficiency with CMS regulations.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
