Navy blue scrubs
50-mile radius restriction; no local travelers

Unit Overview

12-bed, 24-hour observation unit serving the heart/vascular service line
Fast-paced unit with high patient turnover and a wide variety of cardiovascular diagnoses
Patients may include low-acuity critical care patients awaiting placement, same-day procedure patients needing extended monitoring, and presurgical patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience with PA (pulmonary artery) lines

Preferred Qualifications

CCRN preferred

Clinical Experience / Patient Care

Rare vents
No IABP
No Impellas
No ventilators
No CRRT
May accommodate LVADs, 2–4 drips, arterial lines, and PA catheters

The cause nobody stays in touch with you. Nobody tells you anything you are lost when you worked there when it comes to information of things you should know as a Traveler when it comes to who to talk to in the department on different things it’s just all jacked up so just be mindful. It is a great place to work but at the same time management is not always around to help
