Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT)

Location

Employment Details

• Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift Requirements:

  • 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700)
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy support across all patient care areas, including the Emergency Department and general care areas.
• Emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations.
• Basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols.
• Care for all age groups.

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • Advanced NRP
  • NBRC RRT
  • Active Wisconsin license
• Education: Associate's Degree
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years, with NICU experience required for night shift positions.
• Travel Experience: Previous travel experience is required.

Equipment and Charting

• Familiarity with V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 and C1, ISTAT, and documentation in EPIC.

Additional Information

• Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau.
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice.
• Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or strong scents, and piercings per dress code policy.
