Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
Start date: ASAP

Unit

7 West Med RN (Med Surg Unit)
Med Surg unit with 40 beds
Adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions requiring hospitalization

Shift

12-hour day/night variable shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Can be low censused and put on call; call-back minimum is 2 hours

Float Scope

Other general west side units: 2W Hospice/Oncology, 4W Neuro EENT, 5 West, and 8 West

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Preferred

Epic familiarity

Additional Details

Radius rule: contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
Scrubs provided
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
