Physical Therapist Travel Opportunity

Location: Shawano, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 10-hour days (day off Tuesday or Thursday)
• Start Time: Between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed (except during holidays when unit is closed)
• Weekends: None
• Holidays: As needed
• Call: None
• Float: May float throughout the facility within skillset and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Caseload: Mix of orthopedic, neurological, and generalized weakness outpatient cases
• Patient Load:

  • 10-14 patients per 10-hour day
  • 8-12 patients per 8-hour day
  • Evaluations typically 1 hour
  • Follow-ups typically 30 minutes, up to 1 hour for complex patients
• Charting System: EPIC

Unit Overview

• Staffed with 4 Physical Therapists, 3 PT Assistants, 2 Occupational Therapists, and 3 Speech-Language Pathologists

Required Qualifications

• License: Wisconsin Physical Therapist license
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Physical Therapy experience strongly preferred; open to new graduates
• Special Skills: Specialty skills such as lymphedema, dry needling, vestibular therapy are a plus but not required
• Prior Travel Experience: Previous travel experience strongly preferred

Additional Notes

• No travelers currently working at or living within 50 miles of the corporate center in Neenah, WI are eligible
• Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable time
• Guaranteed hours except during holidays when the unit is closed
