Provides age-appropriate nutrition assessments for patients at nutrition risk, including diabetes management and education.
Adapts nutrition plans to patient economic, social, cultural, and age-related needs.
Reassesses patients and adjusts the plan of care as needed.
Provides age-appropriate education to support the nutritional plan of care.
Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn for patients and families.
Participates in developing and reviewing education materials and department resources.

Ability to assess deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and educate others on nutritional needs
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and nutrition programs on a computer
