Job Summary
The Registered Radiologic Technologist utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards. This role requires thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, educating and responding to patient questions or concerns, and ensuring age-appropriate communication and safety. The technologist must demonstrate expertise in patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control. Additionally, this position involves overseeing and training students providing patient care and services.

- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Additional Information
- Must apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Ability to educate patients and ensure safety and communication tailored to different age groups
- Experience in infection control and quality control techniques
