Location: Golden, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), 36 hours per week, weekends included

Role Summary

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under accepted practice standards set by the state Board of Nursing
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
• Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
• Provides health teaching and counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification

Additional Information

• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need.
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
