Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience, with recent experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of central lines
- Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience
- Telemetry experience
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Additional Information
- Candidates must be able to start by 3/9/26
- Facility setting includes LTAC/Telemetry units
- Shift accountability and leadership responsibilities expected
- EMR experience and work schedule details to be confirmed during interview process
