Hospice/Medical Social Worker

Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (0800-1630), no weekends
Hours per Week: 40

Overview

Provide hospice social work support for patients and families in home-based settings, including private residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes.

Required Qualifications

Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in Oregon
LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker (1 year of experience)
LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker experience within the last year
BLS
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Oregon LCSW
Experience as a social worker in a hospital or medical setting

Traveler friends. Unit ratios very appropriate.

Cons

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
