Location

Kearney, Nebraska

Assignment details

13-week contract
Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Typical patient ratio: 1:4
Beds/trauma bays: 2 triage, 5 treatment, 1 trauma bay
Floating is not typically required; may have Med Surg holds
Orientation: 2 shifts with a preceptor
Weekends: every other to every 3rd
Holidays: in rotation with the team
Scrubs: black or charcoal gray

Required qualifications

2 years’ experience
Nebraska or compact RN license
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
ENPC
TNCC
EPIC EMR experience
Must live within 50 miles of Kearney, NE

Clinical context

Typical populations/cases include cardiac and Telestroke Program
GE equipment is used for tele/monitoring
Charge nurse, nurse aides, RRTs, physicians, pharmacy, and security are available 24/7
RNs must have strong IV skills for lab draws
