CVOR Tech Travel Opportunity - Tacoma, Washington

Position Details

Specialty: CVOR Tech
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with call and weekends
Call Requirements: 10-15 calls in a 6-week schedule
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Floating: Required in the Main OR
Orientation: Unit/Department specific orientation provided
Scrubs: Hospital provides scrubs

Experience & Certifications

Required Specialty Experience: At least 2 years of cardiac experience
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
- Washington State License
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Work Environment & Cases

Unit: CVOR RN / CVOR Tech
Number of Suites: 2
Average Cases per Day: 4
Common Cases: CABG, TAVR, minimally invasive and open valve replacements
Scrubbing: Required for Techs; RNs do not scrub
EMR System: Epic

Additional Requirements

COVID-19 vaccine required
Crisis protocol approved
