CT/Xray Tech Opportunity

Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Specialty: CT/Xray Tech
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT Certified CT Technologist (CT)
• ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R)
• BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin State License

Experience Requirements

• Proficient in CT and general radiologic skills
• Excellent patient care skills
• Ability to work independently
• IV start required

Department & Equipment

• 1 CT Scanner & 1 Xray Scanner (Siemens equipment)
• Imaging performed: Hospital ER and outpatient CT; ER x-ray only (no surgery)
• EMR system: Cerner
• PACS system: Spectra
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
• No in-house radiologist 24/7; studies read remotely

Work Schedule & Environment

• Set schedules (example: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday - Friday, 1pm - 9pm)
• Weekend and holiday work required depending on schedule
• No call or standby requirements
• One general radiology tech covers Mon-Fri day shifts; PM and night shifts work solo
• Must wear clean, professional solid color scrubs (any color)
• Department-specific orientation varies based on skills

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• If previously employed at this facility, must have a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
• Floating/covering other areas may be required
