Surgical Services RN

Location

Nampa, Idaho

Assignment Details

13-week contract
4 OR suites
Average daily case volume: 10 to 20
Unit/department orientation: 2-3 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Idaho
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Prior travel experience

Schedule

Rotating 10-hour shifts
Shift times: 0700-1700, 0900-1900, or 0700-1900
No self-scheduling

Call

Typically no call for travelers
Limited call; weekend backup call is 12 hours and rotated through staff
Call response time: 30 minutes

Clinical Scope

Common cases include general, breast, ortho total joints, urology, GYN, and robotics
Does not include spine
RN scrubbing is not required
Charge role includes assisting with flow
OR techs are available
May float to Endoscopy if experienced

Additional Notes

Scrub color/dress code is provided
EMR: Epic
