Overview

• Hours: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

• 1 c-section suite
• 2 pain clinic suites

Required Qualifications

• RN
• 2 years of OR experience
• Ortho experience
• Robotics experience
• BLS
• PALS
• ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience

Clinical Details

• Common cases include laparoscopic, cysto, podiatry, ENT, OBGYN, Urology, plastics, pedi dental, GI, ortho, Neuro Spine, and robotics
• Scrubbing is required for RNs
• Average daily volume: 15-20 cases in Main OR; 15 cases in Pain Clinic Monday through Thursday

Scheduling / Call

• 2 10-hour shifts with a 6 AM or 7 AM start
• No self-scheduling
• No block scheduling
• Weeknight call is rare unless filling in for a regular call RN
• Weekend call is typically one weekend day every 4-5 weeks
• 24-hour call rotation from 6 AM to 6 AM on either Saturday or Sunday
• Holiday call is rotated, typically one holiday per contract
• Call response time: 20 minutes for C-section call, 30 minutes for other cases

Floating

• May only float to Endo or Pain Clinic

Orientation

• General hospital orientation for 3-4 days, then 1 week in OR

Additional Notes

• Scrubs are provided
• Cloth hats may be worn and will be hospital laundered
• OR dedicated shoes are required
• Cannot live in North Platte, NE
