Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Required to scrub Endovascular cases with a specific skill set in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
• Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• On-call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekends as needed.
• Holiday work: Every other holiday. If off on a holiday, must work the day before or after. Must work an evening and a day shift, including winter and spring hallmark holidays.
• Must have experience scrubbing and circulating in the OR.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma experience.
• Active New Jersey RN license.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure patient safety and quality monitoring.
• Strong organizational skills for coordination of care across the OR.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with standard healthcare credentialing and verification processes, including but not limited to:

  • ACLS certification
  • Background check and drug screening
  • Immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine plus booster, Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TdaP)
  • Competency exams and skills checklist
  • Physical exam and license verification

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• This role demands specialized CVOR skills and trauma experience in a high-acuity environment.
