Job Details

• Specialty: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN)
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical nursing
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Proof of identity (government-issued photo ID)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks
• Copy of degree/diploma or transcripts (highest level)
• Physical exam within the last year attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Fit test with 3M N95 mask within 1 year prior to start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening (9-panel) within last 12 months
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (seasonal requirement)
• Proof of 2 professional clinical references within 2 years
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required
• Orientation and competency exams required prior to start
• Facility requires adherence to specific background and health document timelines and renewals
• Weekend shifts are mandatory every other weekend
