Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Carson City, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Graveyard shift (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
Start Date: Preferred 3/23, flexible to 3/30

Job Description

• Work in the Imaging CT Scan department
• Operate GE CT scanners
• Use Epic EMR and Sectra PACS software systems
• No on-call required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Nevada
• ARRT (R) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA ACLS or RQI acceptable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS or RQI acceptable)

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Tech with ARRT certification
• No prior travel experience explicitly required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I-9 verification by authorized representative
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including 7-year county searches, nationwide sex offender, and international search if applicable
• Education verification (transcript/diploma preferred)
• Fingerprinting per Nevada state mandate (NV Fingerprint Waiver and History Statement required)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start (Nevada state mandate)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire (Nevada state mandate)
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer or signed declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10 or 11 panel drug screen within 30 days of start (must include marijuana)
• Seasonal flu vaccination documentation required (declinations not accepted; religious/medical exemptions considered case-by-case)

Additional Certifications (Preferred or Required Depending on Role)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – for pediatric roles (not specified here)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – for respiratory therapists or pediatric roles (not specified here)
• Other certifications such as CCRN, TNCC, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification may be relevant for other nursing roles but not required for this CT Tech position
