- Shift: 4x10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
- Education: Completion of a JCERT-accredited program (verified by DAPIP)
- Certifications:
- ARRT N or CNMT accepted
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- License: Must hold an active Nuclear Medicine Tech license valid in California
Prior Travel Experience
- Not required
Required Documents & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Background check within 6 months of start, including:
- SSN Trace
- 7-year county residence history
- Nationwide and sex offender searches
- International criminal searches if lived outside the U.S. in last 7 years
- Education verification including transcript/diploma
- Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
- Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (N95 or equivalent)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive)
- Drug screening within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination documentation for the 2025-26 season (mandatory, no declinations accepted)
- References: 2 professional references required, at least 1 supervisory
- Skills checklist updated annually
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure
Certifications & Training
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other advanced certifications as applicable (check unit requirements)
- Fire Card (LA County Fire Card with 4-year expiration preferred; must be completed within 30 days of start if not obtained prior)
- Harassment Prevention Training Certificate (California-specific, 2-year update)
- Medication and competency exams as required by profession and specialty
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification if assigned to ER
Additional Notes
- Photo for badge may be required (must meet strict guidelines)
- Meal waiver and parking forms may be required depending on role
- Modules and orientation requirements must be completed as directed
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
This position is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, who are flexible with weekend and floating shifts, and ready to work a 13-week travel contract in California. First-time travelers are welcome.
