Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- On Call: No
- Floating: Yes, clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
- Local Radius Rule: Candidate’s address must be more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
- Remote Time Off (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days of RTO accepted
- Charting System: Epic
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician, including X-Ray Technician experience
- Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- ARRT(R) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Required Certifications
- ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC required for all positions
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Must be current if applicable
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)
Additional Requirements
- Must provide a utility bill in the candidate’s name with matching address dated within the last three months, confirming residence more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and various federal/state sanction lists required within 30 days of start
- Physical exam confirming good health and ability to perform job duties, updated annually
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
- Immunizations and health documents including Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine (seasonal), and COVID vaccination or declination form
- Drug screening (10-panel) including marijuana, required within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training, including HIPAA and OSHA acknowledgments
- Fit testing for N95 masks completed onsite prior to or on first day
- References: Two former direct supervisor references required (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
- Work history verification covering the last 10 years, including explanations for any gaps over 30 days
