Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM


Job Description

  • Work in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment.
  • Knowledge required in Interventional Cardiology, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience applicable to Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
  • Preferred: Minimum 1 year scrubbing experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) registration preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New York.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Associates degree.

Additional Requirements

  • Criminal background check within 60 days prior to assignment, covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years.
  • Various federal and state exclusion list checks within 60 days prior to start.
  • Signed confidentiality agreement, staff attestation, and harassment factsheet prior to start.
  • Completion of annual required training modules and prestart modules.
  • Annual renewal of certain certifications and background checks as applicable.
  • Candidates must comply with all facility-specific documentation and training requirements.

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • All certifications must have primary source verification.
  • Drug testing excludes marijuana.
  • Some health document exemptions apply only if the role is 100% remote with no onsite presence or patient care responsibilities.
  • Failure to meet immunization or testing requirements may result in removal from assignment.
