Medical Lab Technician Travel/Contract Job

Location: Blackwell, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Night shift schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, starting Wednesday night
• Work 7 consecutive nights (Wednesday through Tuesday), then 7 days off, repeating
• Responsibilities include:

  • Chemistry testing using Vitros system
  • Hematology testing using Sysmex system
  • Blood Bank testing using gel method
  • Phlebotomy required

Required Qualifications

• Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Phlebotomy skills and Phlebotomy Tech experience required

Additional Requirements

• Government issued photo ID required
• I9 or attestation required
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Orientation and facility-specific documents must be reviewed and completed prior to start
• Photo for badge required (passport-style with solid background)
• Completion of HealthStream training modules prior to start (2-3 hours)
• Commitment to Excellence Standards acknowledgment and staff orientation completion required
• Color blind exam and fit mask test will be completed onsite during orientation

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• The job requires working night shifts on a rotating 7-on/7-off schedule
• Candidates must be prepared to complete all required documentation and health screenings before starting
