Cath Lab Manager - Travel/Contract

Location: Richardson, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-Call Requirement: 8-10 days per month, including at least one weekend per month

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Proficiency with EPIC system

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I9 or attestation
• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport (name must match all documentation)
• E-Verify or attestation
• 7-year background check including county criminal background for all locations lived/worked in last 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; chest x-ray and TB questionnaire as applicable
• 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no rapid screens)
• Proof of required immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series and positive titer or signed declination)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) with boosters if titers low/equivocal
  • Varicella with boosters if titers low/equivocal
  • Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• Photo for badge (passport style, clear background)
• Signed job description and facility-specific forms prior to start
• Two professional references within 3 years

Competency & Testing Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80%, two attempts allowed)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (two attempts allowed; required for Cath Lab Techs)
• Pass/fail testing for medication and EKG exams required before start

Summary

This is a travel contract position for an experienced Cath Lab Manager with at least 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience and prior travel assignments. The role requires day shifts with on-call duties, proficiency in EPIC, and multiple certifications including RCIS, ACLS, and BLS. Candidates must meet extensive documentation, immunization, background, and competency testing requirements before starting.
