X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract

Location: Burlingame, California
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Weekend Requirement: Rotating every 3rd weekend, no on-call required

Job Description

Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images.
Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely results.
Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
May perform specific procedures and assist in orienting new staff to the department.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (XR) Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience as an X-Ray Technician
