Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Pomona, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

RN travelers will float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units as part of resource center staffing.
Facility policies prohibit facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, and require tattoos to be covered. Visible body piercings (except earrings) including facial or nose rings are not allowed. Earrings must be modest and not extend excessively.
First-time travelers are welcome with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Cath lab is super traveler friendly, easygoing docs, nice coworkers, super easy to get to the facility from surrounding areas, great about scheduling what you needed off, LOTS of outdoor activities to do within an hour of here! Safe gated parking area (called the Cage), hospital is clean and welcoming, staff usually pretty great in all areas I went.

Cons

DO NOT STAY IN POMONA, stay in surrounding areas (San Dimas, La Verne, Covina, Glendora, Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, Claremont are all good).
