Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry

Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry)
  • Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • On-call: No
  • Floating: Required to float within scope to like units/sister facilities
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Local Radius: 60 miles
  • Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

    • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination required
  • TB Testing: Negative T-spot or Q-Gold within 90 days of start; if positive, chest X-ray and annual questionnaire required
  • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
  • Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Aug 1 – Mar 31); medical/religious exemptions accepted but no declinations; documentation must be uploaded by deadline
  • COVID-19: Vaccination highly preferred; if declined, must complete vaccination declination form
  • Respirator Clearance: Annual medical clearance required for respirator use

  • Background Check: Annual, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including SSN trace, criminal, sex offender, and national registries
