Radiation Therapist - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
No weekends, holidays, or on-call duties required

Job Description

Provide radiation therapy treatments using technologies such as IMRT, VMAT, 3D SBRT, SRS, and Tomotherapy
Treat a variety of cancer diagnoses, primarily prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, skin, and bone metastases
Patient volume includes approximately 27 patients on TrueBeam with 3-4 therapists and about 20 patients on Tomotherapy with 2 therapists
Dress code: purple scrub top with purple or black bottoms

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Radiation Therapist certification (ARRT (R))

Additional Information

This position requires verification of national technical certification and state licensure relevant to the Radiation Therapist role.
