- 5x8 hour shifts
- 4x10 hour shifts (e.g., 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
- 2x8 & 2x12 hour shifts
- No on-call or weekend shifts
- Flexible scheduling options: block scheduling, rotational, or set day off depending on shift pattern

Job Description
- Role: Electrophysiology Lab Technician
- Must be able to scrub during procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Must be able to scrub
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID matching legal name
- 7-year criminal background check (including SSN trace, counties lived/worked, statewide, national sex offender, federal, education verification)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Foreign Equivalency Education Evaluation (if internationally educated)
- Education verification with official transcripts if needed
- Employment application with 7-year work history and no gaps over 90 days
- Work history verification for last 7 years (attestations not accepted)
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure (updated if 30-day gap between assignments)
Certifications & Competencies
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 85% score)
- Color Blind Testing (minimum 80% score; required for all candidates starting 8/2/2024 or later)
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (check unit description)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start, updated annually (clean shaven required for fit testing)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation
- TB questionnaire updated annually
- Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination within 1 year)
- Varicella
- 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (9/1 - 3/31)
- COVID vaccination series preferred but not required

- Language Services Training
- CAUTI Education Training (except PICU, NICU, Psychiatry/Behavioral Health)
- Suicide Risk and Environmental Assessment Training
- Stroke Education (except Pediatric specialties and NICU)

- Patient Transportation with Oxygen Education
- Pyxis ES MedStation Modules
- Baxter Pump Interoperability Training
- Patient Bedside Rounding (except OR, Behavioral Health, Ambulatory, ER/ED)
- Ventricular Assist Device Awareness (except certain hospitals)
- AME Blood Administration Module (except Case Managers, Behavioral Health/Psych, Home Health)
- New Employee Orientation Module
- 21st Century Cures Act Module (for specified specialties)
- ED Handbook (for ED/ER RNs)
- eCart Training Module (except Pediatric, Periop/OR, Outpatient, Case Managers, Home Health)
- Chaperone Policy Training
- Fire Safety Module (effective 5/4/2026 and forward)

- Parking cost approximately $125/month
