Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Work on a comprehensive overflow unit caring for medical-surgical patients.
  • Float to all care areas to care for multiple sclerosis (MS) patients.
  • Unit staffed by in-house hospitalist team; exposure to patients from all disciplines.
  • Every other weekend required.
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue.
  • Parking available onsite at no cost.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
