Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check covering last 7 years, all states lived/worked in, required annually
- Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts required
- Physical exam required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (2-step PPD or Qgold accepted; T-Spot not accepted)
- TB questionnaire required prior to start and annually thereafter
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella
- Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cannabinoids, MDMA, methamphetamines, buprenorphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, tramadol, benzodiazepines, morphine/opiate)
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start and documentation on file by 12/15 annually
- COVID vaccine exemptions allowed with proper medical or religious documentation
Additional Requirements
- Clear, passport-style photo with solid background for badge
- Completion of facility-specific modules (approx. 8-10 hours) prior to start; paid time for completion
- Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement required before start
- Candidates must complete any required on-site testing (e.g., EKG exam for Monitor Techs)
Experience and Travel Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- First-time travelers are not accepted
