Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts, days
• Weekend Coverage: Two weekend days per month
• Role Type: Hybrid role covering both acute care and inpatient rehab unit

Required Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience in acute care (higher end of range applies)

Required Certifications & Licenses

• PTA Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Must be COVID vaccinated
• Epic experience required
• Valid, unencumbered California PTA license

Additional Requirements

• Must provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or state ID)
• Background checks including social security trace, county, OFAC, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Physical exam and health documents (TB screening, immunizations including Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, flu vaccine, drug testing) must be completed within 2 business days of contract signing
• Fit mask test required within 2 business days of contract signing and annually thereafter
• Two professional references required (supervisor level or above)
• Employment history covering 7 years with no gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist current within 12 months and required annually

Work Environment & Notes

• Hybrid acute care and inpatient rehab setting
• Regular M-F day shifts with limited weekend coverage
• Must comply with all facility-specific health and safety protocols

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in California
• Physical Therapy Assistant with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• One year or more of total travel experience
• Experience in Acute Care, Inpatient, and Rehabilitation settings
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
