Job Description
- Must have conscious sedation experience
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required; eye experience highly desired
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- California State Nursing License (RN) - primary source verification required within 30 days of start
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in California
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty (Operating Room)
- Conscious sedation experience required
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, FACIS Level 3 screening, and other federal/state checks required and must be updated annually
- Education verification required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
- TB screening questionnaire and negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, renewed annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions)
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
- Immunizations required or proof of immunity: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination with mask requirement
- References: 2 professional references within 3 years required (Aya requirement, not client)
- Full 7 years of work history required on application with no gaps

- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including standards of business conduct, code of conduct, vendor training, and regulatory orientation prior to start
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests may be required as applicable
