Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Specialty: Registered Nurse (ICU)
Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts, every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Licensure: Wisconsin or Compact License required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be current and renewed annually)
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
  • Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills required
• Flexibility: Will float to IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit/Stepdown) as needed
• References:

  • Two professional supervisor references within the last year, including one from the most recent/current assignment

Compliance & Screening Requirements

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for all locations lived/worked/schooled, nationwide sex offender check
• Wisconsin Caregiver Screening (agency to run for subcontractors)
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test within 14 days before start (instant acceptable)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-ray acceptable if within 60 days)
• Annual skills checklist required

Immunization & Health Requirements

• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (with specific protocols if titers are low/equivocal)
• Hepatitis B: Titer, series, or declination
• Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (with specific protocols if titers are low/equivocal)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)

Additional Facility-Specific Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters)
• Completion of compliance checklist and confidentiality statement prior to start
• Flu vaccine exemption forms if applicable
• Dosimeter request form required only for Imaging Department (not applicable for this RN role)
