Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele, PCU)
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit: Primarily MS/Telemetry with Stepdown/PCU patient care responsibilities
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5+
Schedule: Every other weekend
Floating: Required to float within scope to meet facility needs
Locals Accepted: Yes
First-time Travelers: Accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
PCU experience within the last year
Med Surg experience, including Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Telemetry experience
Stepdown experience
Intermediate Care experience
Surgical ICU Stepdown experience
Direct Observation Unit (DOU) experience
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
IV Certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
