Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech (PET/CT Technologist)
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description
- Work schedule: 4 days a week, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Thursdays off
- Department: PET/CT with a team of 4 technologists
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Nuclear Medicine Tech)
- Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1+ year experience in specialty (default to higher if conflicting info found)
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license as applicable in Utah
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA

- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender registry
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire and monthly updates

- 11-panel drug screen including MDMA within 30 days of start (valid for 2 years)
- Immunizations & Health Requirements:
- Flu vaccine required annually (medical/religious exemptions considered case-by-case)
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (2-step PPD or QGold/TSPOT)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Hepatitis B immunity confirmed by surface antibody titer (vaccine series alone not accepted)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Respirator medical clearance if respirator use is required
- Competency Exams: Required as applicable to specialty
- Skills Checklist: Annual skills checklist required
- References:
- 3 professional references required, including at least 1 supervisor/manager or charge nurse

- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Candidates with latex allergies will have access to non-latex gloves
