Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee Employment type: Travel/Contract Contract length: 13 weeks Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM), 40 hours per week, every other weekend, call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
2 years of endoscopy experience
Endoscopy experience within the last year
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience in an outpatient setting
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or RQI
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Other Information

Accepts first-time travelers
Orientation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation, starting on a Sunday with online CBLs; the start date must allow compliance documents to be completed by the deadline
The hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases, and extra overtime shifts may be flexed as needed
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to take part in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care
