Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Stockbridge, Georgia
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• 32-bed unit
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications
• Arrhythmia management
• Cardioversion
• Experience with congestive heart failure (CHF) care
• TR Band management
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Must be able to manage cardiac drips, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips
• Must have overflow IMCU experience
• Required clinical experience includes renal, pulmonary conditions including COPD and pulmonary edema, PE, DVT, stable A-Fib, SVT, bradycardia, surgical cases including cholecystectomy, appy's, chest tubes, biliary drains, occasional vascular patients, post cardiac cath, DKA, occasional Ortho or CVA overflow, and basic arrhythmia knowledge
• Floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed

Additional Details

• RTO maximum: 7 days per contract
• Weekends are typically every other weekend
• Call is rare with a 2-hour response time
• One major holiday must be worked if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays require working both; three major holidays require working two
• Full compliance is required to start on time
• Locals accepted at the same rate
