Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Charleston, West Virginia
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 19:00–7:00
• Schedule options: 3x12 or 4x12
• Weekdays, every other weekend, float
• 36 hours guaranteed
• 100-mile radius rule applies

Unit / Setting

• 4W Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• 39 beds
• Observation unit with high turnaround, 36 hours or less
• Adult and geriatric patient populations
• Can be floated within scope if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• Experience working with Stroke patients
• Experience working with Surgical patients
• Experience working with Post Cardiac Cath patients
• Driver's License
• Post Cardiac Cath, Post Angiogram, PTCA experience required
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• Cardioversion, TEE, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and paracentesis experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Holiday RTO should be limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
• Blocked schedule requests are not guaranteed

• Cerner charting
• Royal Blue/White scrub color for RN
• Parking is free for travelers
