Overview
- Travel/contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Call required: 90–120 hours in a 6-week schedule
- First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
- Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Vascular surgery experience
- Thoracic surgery experience
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Atherectomy
- Atrial Septal Defect Repair
- Cardiomyoplasty
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
Responsibilities
- Receive lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
Interview / Submission Notes
- Provide 2–3 days of interview availability when submitting
- Minimum of 2 references from recent employment
- Employment application must be current and explain any gap of 30 days or more
- Skills checklist required within 12 months of start and annually
Compliance / Onboarding
- Background check required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required
- HHS/OIG screening required
- Transcript or diploma required
- Education verification required
- State license verification required
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- Competency exam required
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required
- Color blind testing required
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- Fit testing required within 12 months of start
- TB screening required within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required
- Drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization documentation required
- References must be from recent employment and verified within 2 years of start
