Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbia, Missouri
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Children’s ICU level therapist
• Every other weekend required
• First-time travelers are OK
• No locals within 50 miles

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience

Additional Start Requirements

• Photo ID
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Background check within 60 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 60 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 60 days of start
• Missouri MO EDL search results within 60 days of start
• Missouri MO FCSR search results or Missouri Caregiver Background Screening results within 60 days of start
• Employment application/resume with 7 years of employment history and no gaps greater than 30 days
• New hire packet
• Access and Confidentiality Agreement
• NHP TB Survey
• Certification of Employment Eligibility
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• State license verification within 60 days of start
• NURSYS verification within 60 days of start

Notes

• Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather may be required
• Must be able to take call
• Must be able to work assigned weekends and at least 50% of holidays during the contract
• Role involves active physical demands, including ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
• Candidate may come into contact with contagious illnesses
